Child Care Provider Assistant

Typical responsibilities and duties for the Child Care Provider Assistant include but are not limited to:

• Manage and supervise children newborn to 5 years of age.

• Maintains the personal hygiene of children attending the Day Care Center.

• Closely monitors the activities of children.

• Cleans and sanitizes Day Care Center rooms, toys and equipment on a daily basis.

• Daily health inspection of children and is alert to and reports all suspicious indications of child abuse or neglect.

• Organizes materials and prepares for children’s daily activities.

• Serves daily meals to children as appropriate.

• Daily inspection of the childcare facilities for cleanliness and safety hazards and reports concerns.

• Other duties as assigned.
